"Overall, I have to say I was very impressed with these meals I personally purchased and tasted. I was also very impressed with the extra serving of vegetables that come with each diabetic meal. Diabetics need to have vegetables, fiber, and lean proteins in their diet to help maintain proper blood sugars. These are the only prepared meals I'm aware of that offers an entree, side dish, and two servings of vegetables. The fixed price of $7.99 per meal is very reasonable for the quality of the meals I received, which qualifies this company is an excellent value."

  • Chicken A La King with Green Beans an Broccoli
  • Shrimp Creole over Wild and White Rice Blend with Corn and Black Beans and Green Beans
  • Salisbury Steak with Mushroom Gravy, Mashed Sweet Potato, Green Beans and Carrots

EasyLife Prepared Meals We Would Pass On Next Order

  • Chicken Breast with Tarragon Cream Sauce, Potatoe Wedges, and Peas and Baby Carrots
The Swedish meatballs seemed like they were homemade instead of those frozen Swedish meatballs you'd get at the supermarket. The low-sodium egg noodles were tasty, and the vegetables were fresh. The portion size of the stuff pepper was grand, and the meal tasted delicious it was another excellent value for $7.99.

I also enjoyed the Seafood Primavera, which was shrimp and haddock in a cream sauce over fettuccine pasta with a side dish of vegetables. The fish reheated well in the microwave and did not become rubbery or overcooked. The Chicken A La King was also very good, although it could've been a little bland, but these meals are low in sodium to support healthy diabetic lifestyles.

I enjoyed the Shrimp Creole I was especially surprised at the quality of the wild and white rice blend and how it reheated in the microwave. It tasted and had a texture as if it were prepared fresh. The Salisbury Steak may have been one of the best Salisbury Steaks I ever tried from a prepared meal delivery company. It was made of real meat and looked homemade the sweet mashed potatoes were excellent too.

The Turkey Chili meal was good, but the chili was not the proper consistency in the way one would expect the chili to be. This is why I gave it a thumbs down and would not order it again. However, there really was nothing wrong with it. The pork loin was excellent. The portion size was good, and the pureed cauliflower was surprisingly delicious.
I was very impressed with the packaging and how these meals arrived. Meals were wrapped in bubble wrap in groups of two to ensure the dry ice did not crack any of the plastic trays. As a result, my order arrived in perfect condition.

Although this company specializes in diabetic meals, these meals can also support any healthy lifestyle, including weight loss, and senior meal delivery services. At $7.99 per meal, they are an excellent value and better than what you could buy at the supermarket in the frozen-food section. I was very happy to see a company produce high-quality diabetic meals that not only tasted good, but are reasonably priced.

I love Easy Life Meals. Believe it or not, I've struggled for years just to shed pounds. I weighed 379 pounds, and I thought it would take me forever before I actually reached my goal weight of 155 pounds. But, with these meals and the help of my trainer, I actually did it and avoided the impending diabetes my doctor told me I was headed for.

I love how they pre-calculate all my meals to be less than 400 calories. Also, I don't get bored with their meals. I get a variety every week, and even some I hadn't thought I would be allowed to eat, like their scrumptious cakes.

I like how EasyLife Plans allows me and my husband to customize our meals. We are both seniors now and are practically on a low budget, so we have to look for meals that are satisfying and economical at the same time. Add to that, they must be low in salt because of our hypertension.

Despite the odds, they were able to deliver just what we wanted. My husband and I could have suffered numerous health complications if not for them. Now, all we have to think about is how to spend more quality time with our grandchildren.

I am a type one diabetic, and I am also 60 pounds overweight. It has taken me a long time to accept the fact that I have diabetes and make a lifestyle changes for the benefit of my health. I spent most of my life traveling for business and eating at restaurants of all types of quality. Long story short - I don't know how to cook, much less cook nutritionally balanced diabetic meals.

I find the EasyLife diabetic meals to be a good value and serve the purpose of my nutritional needs while I go through this life-change. I am learning to cook, I am dedicated to exercise by hiring a personal trainer, and I am taking diabetes education classes offered by my hospital.

I may not need EasyLife Meals all my life, but they were a huge help in me setting up the rest of my life.
